Fall Challenge! - Day 3

I found that I liked to take pictures of berries.  So I'll warn you.... you may see alot more berry pictures in your future.  :)  I was worried that they didn't "say" Fall enough.   Then I thought a bit more about the all wild birds that I see eating them right now.  Surely they are gathered by all animals in the Fall time.  That made me feel a bit better.

Fall Challenge! - Day 2

:) Two again.....  I love the first one and how near the outside of the tree the leaves were dark red but as you looked inside they became bight yellow.  My brother tells my this is because of the amount of sunlight the leaves get.  It might be true.... I've never really researched leaves before.

Fall Challenge! - Day 1

Today is day 1!!!  I'm rather excited!  Here are my pictures for the day:

Not often seen...

So let me explain how we got these pictures... I was doing chores and I heard our dogs barking.  When I went to see what it was I nearly went nuts.  There was an Emu walking around not far from our road!!!!!  Yes, People!!!  An EMU!!!!!!!!  I went to tell everyone else about it and we piled in the truck to go see it.  Only my mom remembered to bring a camera, so these are her pictures. :)   

We're not exactly sure where it came from...but it was cool!!!!  :)  I mean, how often do you see something like that??????
